The history of Bermuda is an adventure of surviving through the
centuries. Survival depended on merchants forging new trading
routes, all the while responding to opportunity when much larger
nations found themselves at war to dominate the northern Atlantic.
After WW2 Bermuda knew it had to embrace new technologies and
commercial strategies to keep the economy moving forward.
“Shipwreck to Shorts” will highlight the macro-economic paradigm
shifts that transformed Bermuda from an island established to
support its colonial sibling, Virginia, to what it is today.
Members may pay their dues at the event and Membership Forms will
be available.
